Thoughts along the road

I wanted to take a post to thank you, the reader. This journey that I began three years ago with Discover Your Ministry has taken some dramatic changes along the way and I am very happy with where it has come to. Along that note I am excited to see where it will go in the future.
There are so many needs right now in all our ministries and I know that God has a plan for them. I look back at the way that my life brought me to this point. I remember sitting down in my last year of high school, looking at where the next year would take me. The opportunities were endless it seems, but I decided to head off to Red River College in Winnipeg Manitoba. It was there that I would take electrical and begin working towards becoming a full time electrician. I was well on on way.
Well my moment of truth came in the last months of schooling. I graduated as one of the top in my class, but somehow knew that the electrical field was not for me. The main reason was that whenever I would talk about being an electrician I would first mention how much money I would make. So…I dropped it. I would spend the next number of years working various jobs across Canada until I ended up in Briercrest, met the love of my life, and began work at the Dauphin Bible Camp.
It was my work at Dauphin Bible Camp that forced me to learn how to design websites, that has since become a side business, and would eventually lead me to the creation of Discover Your Ministry, and the re-vision of it that you are now reading.
Who know where God has me in the future. Perhaps this is the end and He will call me home soon, or maybe He has more work for me here. Regardless I will continue on with the plans that He has laid for me as I see His shaping hand on my past. I just pray that I can be a shaping hand on someones future.
Do you have any thoughts about the site, any needs for your ministry, or anyway that we can help? Have an awesome day and thanks again for making Discover Your Ministry apart of it.
